1. Who We Are

VALOR is operated by NALAI (Kaia Sinclair), New York, NY. Contact: hello@nalai.co. This policy explains what data we collect when you use VALOR or sign up for our waitlist at nalai.co.

2. Data We Collect

• Waitlist signup: your name and email address, submitted voluntarily.
• Usage data: pages visited, browser type, referring URL, collected via standard server logs.
• API keys you provide (BYOK): stored encrypted in your environment only. We never store, transmit, or log your API keys on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To notify you when your waitlist spot opens.
• To send product updates (one email per milestone, no spam).
• To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. BYOK and Your AI Providers

VALOR operates on a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model. When you connect API keys (Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek, etc.), your requests go directly from your environment to those providers. We do not act as an intermediary, do not log your prompts or outputs, and do not train any models on your content. Your data relationships with those AI providers are governed by their own privacy policies.

5. Data Storage and Security

Waitlist data is stored in a secured PostgreSQL database hosted on Hetzner (EU/US). We use industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Access is restricted to authorized personnel only.

6. Your Rights

• Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Deletion: request removal from our waitlist and deletion of your data at any time.
• Correction: request correction of inaccurate data.
• Opt-out: unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in any email we send.

7. Cookies

This website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking tools.

8. Third-Party Services

• Resend: used to send transactional emails (waitlist confirmation). Your email is shared with Resend solely for email delivery.
• Hetzner: our infrastructure provider. Servers are located in Nuremberg, Germany or Ashburn, VA, USA.

9. Children

VALOR is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be emailed to waitlist members. The latest version is always at nalai.co/privacy.html.
